On Monday, December 4th, 2017, Susanne Burchett and Sue Trotter came to bring books to the students of Waterford Elementary School, on behalf of R.I.F program, or Reading is Fundamental. R.I.F. is a project of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 389. In addition, several other sponsors, including local businesses and the Waterford P.T.O, help purchase books for our students. When R.I.F comes to Waterford Elementary School, each student in grades K-8 get to choose and receive a free book from the program. This is a wonderful opportunity for our students to learn to love reading! Thank you so much to the R.I.F program!
