Student Websites for Classical Music

From Mr. Joe Frazier, our PreK teacher.

Here is an article about how listening to music helps a child’s brain development:

Every day in the preschool we have instrumental music playing in the background almost the entire day to help keep the energy calm and because research has been showing how listening to music enhances children’s brain development. I usually have jazz, classical, blues, or Hawaiian ukulele. By the end of the school year I ask the children to choose if they would rather listen to Jazz, Classical, or Blues and just by exposing them to it throughout the year most of them learn the difference without me explicitly teaching them.
